Mindset

Before I started “Joyful Dog Quilts”, a friend and I discussed commission work. I said I would never do it because it makes me nervous and stressed.

Well, last night, my cousin asked about bags. My first reaction was no but then we talked and I have an idea what to do. Labels were the next question. No I don’t…wait, perhaps I can.

This morning I stepped out of the shower thinking about this challenge. Not sure about the labels. I start to say to myself ” It will work or..” I quickly shifted gears to: a successful person does not think that way! This is not out of my skill set. How do we problem solve? We pay for Geek Squad. If I can’t figure out word, I go to them, take my computer and handy notebook and get them to show me what I need. Even if it’s difficult, I stay with it until I understand. No anger or frustration allowed!
