It has been a week of courage. Monday, I invited my friend and her kids to the house. We are having plumbing issues but I knew we could manage. I have never done a same day invite! (Her kids were sick so she didn’t come but I did invite them.)
Today, I sent my cousin my next story for a writing contest. He is a published author and, I feel, his work is amazing. Plus, he is brilliant. I’m a bit nervous to see what he thinks but I did it. Six months ago, I can’t imagine myself doing that.
And tonight I am submitting that story for a Writer’s Digest contest. Two this year. I couldn’t even think about doing that two years ago.
It feels wonderful not to second guess myself. It is a freedom I have never had. I just need to keep moving forward to financial freedom.
