Today I did some plans for color field wall hanging. Oddly, because of two traumatic events, anything besides quilting, is approached with chaos. I believe it is because I knew I would fail so I might as well get it out of the way and fail at the start. I read a lot on color field paintings last might and have my first block planned. I know what I want to paint first and even have the colors planned in proper order. I have an idea for the second block but will plan it out.

The painting ended up an abstract and may be the only piece of art I have ever been proud of.
