So much has been said about social media and how destructive it can be. I completely agree. Over the last week, I have put my phone away sometimes. I am happier and less stressed.
That said, it is an addiction. My daughter had my phone today and I was nervous. Recognized what was going on, and pulled out my sewing. I was fine.
My husband, is on the other hand, is so addicted he can’t put his phone down. He spends most of the day in bed with it and then he gets up and cannot put it down. We rarely talk for more than a few minutes at a time because he can’t be away from it. Things must be done here but never done because he just can’t walk away. It is a powerful drug.
And it’s sad. We will have generations who can’t work because they can’t put their phone away. The world is doomed.
